Moly bullets for centerfire

I used to use them. Now I treat the barrel with Moly-Fusion and shoot the cheaper and cleaner plain bullets.

I did some testing for them.

Through away the messy bullet application that is OLD tech.

With Moly-fusion the bore is treated. First the bore must be clean, clean , clean. Then it is treated with the paste rubbed in with a bore mop. I like to leave overnight. then wipe with the maintenance oil. SAY bye-bye to copper fowling and very little bore fowling. For the 22 lr do not worry about the chamber. For the centerfires DO NOT GET in the chambers of centerfires.

8 mags of Port 308 through the test FAL and I blew the little bit of visible fowling out with my breath. Checked for copper fouling using Sweets 762, Not a bit of copper fouling found. Tested several 10/22 barrels some accuracy improved slightly but the normal fouling was gone. 1 patch pulled through that was all needed after mucho shooting.

The maintenance oil can be used on the trigger and will get rid of the grating creep. Treating the bolt for the 10/22 makes it work super.

Not only is it great for the bore but the corrosion resistance is unbelievable. A treated piece of steel was submerged in acid for a few minutes. the untreated area was eaten away in big pits the treated area looked the same as before it went in the acid. A piece treated has been left in our bluing room and it is as good as the day it was left there. Usually oil protected steel rusts in a week.
